Well I have now had 2 doses of the Pfizer Covid vaccine, living in a house with a border worker.
There is a new distant evolution of Tangleball too Hackland, many of the same old crew, a better space, and many new people.
Won $70 on a random inspiration to buy a lotto ticket yesterday. Was a must win so would have distributed down.
Also today met my namesake Brian Murphy, he is a welder living out at Westgate. Was good, I hope we meet up again. Thanks Mittendrin Restuarant great lunch and beer.
Enjoying listening to Hunters and Collectors at the moment. Ever since I chanced on Crucible which I think is great.
My NZ music pix are getting notice a bit at the moment too.
And yes I have a couple pix of Mark Seymour at work, from Hunters and Collectors gigs at the University of Auckland Rec. Centre, and the Powerstation.
Down an unassuming corridor
I watched a livestream of Kirk Brandon, I used to love his music in Theatre of Hate. We are both that much older now.
I am operating the camera with my phone.
Went down to Hawke’s Bay
Local colour at the Hastings market, bought lovely fruit and wine there (Hawkes Ridge).
Woggle, Maries half dog, someone else has him half the time.
Getting back into Auckland after going to level 3, seemed we could not really do anything in Level 2 Hawkes Bay so home. It took 30 minutes of queue to get my address checked by a policeman then off.
Film finished and back at last.
I was in a hurry and did not stop to develop an understanding of the issue here.
Plenty said here.
Plenty of effort at security here.
And more of the old Grey Lynn.
These with the T90 and tri-x
Had a beer, Don Brash was inside there. Quite happy outside.
Then in Balmoral, A Chinatown area. A lot of interest in finding a couple people, $100k reward apparently. Some fraud. Must be a story there.
These from a couple of weeks ago, a good dramatic skied day.
Still slogging away at getting film through my T90
Public holiday here today, on call for work though, and have had to sort out some stuff. Still, a nice day and relaxing.
Went to Snells Beach to visit Kevin, cooked them dinner, gave the lamb with harissa and pomegranate thing another go round. Also did Bok Choy.
It is a fine thing https://www.farro.co.nz/recipe/slow-roasted-leg-of-harissa-lamb/
Have been working with the Canon T-90 again, so more film B&W pics coming soon
Then to the Brick Bay sculture trail. My sort of stuff.
New Years day at Michaels place
