Lovely day, got to Raglan early and rented a kayak from Raglan Kayak and paddled across the harbour.

Called him out of his tent and chatted with him a bit. Seems physically well, but running an alternate reality in his head.
Was a nice paddle up to the Te Akau South wharf and back across, with a break where I got the kayak set up a lot better.

Seems like there is a bit of drama going on in Raglan.
So I got to do something I had thought about and I think would have regretted not doing.
Maybe I should try again some time.
