While travelling around in Europe I noticed the “Maker” culture and Tech shops.
In Amsterdam there was a 3D print business selling toothbrush holders.
And in Berlin a Maker Store http://www.maker-store.de that was sselling Arduinos and running training courses.
In Zurich I went and talked to the people at http://www.my3dworld.ch who had been in the 3D printing business for 3 years or so, printing, selling printers, training and prototyping for people.
They had aluminium and steel printing technology too.
It is interesting to see what larger populations allow.
